How do you save the mysql database as a CSV...

Recommended Posts

I need to somehow convert my OSCommerce database into a CSV so I can open it in MS Excel or Access.

Does anyone know how to do this? I won't need to make changes to upload it back into OSC, but I do need it as a Excel or Access file to make changes.

Any help would be much appreciated.

TIA,

Matt

I think that he meant phpMyAdmin. Using it, click on the database; click on the export tab; change type to CSV for Ms Excel data. Note: you may have to update to a newer version than 2.2.6. I think that they are in the 2.5 range now.

Sorry - your correct.

if I poted anything about phpMySQL (I know I Must have posted a few) - I should have put phpMyAdmin!

Using too many MYSQL tools (phpMyAdmin, MySQL Front, WinMySQLAdmin ect..) ....Make me go nuts.

Peanuts anyone?
