Different quantity for different sizes....

Hi Everyone,

I searched the forum but could not locate a similar inquiry, so I decided to add a new topic. So here I go:

I have a client who sells designer clothing and has the need to enter different available quantity for different sizes of the same garment. Let's say we have product (A) in size 6,8 and 10. But we have only qty. 10 for size 6, 15 for size 8 but 25 for size 10 on hand.

Is there a way I can implement this so as soon as one size runs out, it is removed from the drop down list, without having to remove the product entirely?

This has to be a practical way without the need for client to manually remove the sold-out option and re-adjust the available quantity for the remaining sizes.

I appreciate your feedback.

Regards,

Scotty

The QTPro contribution lets you set stock levels for attributes but it does not check stock level until checkout according to some of the posts here.

It does not remove things from the list when they are out of stock. But it might be a good place for you start.
