2nd post: On checkout_confirmation.php the tax is

Nobody answered my question for 5 days. So I decided to post this text again. I hope, somebody will help me now...

On checkout_confirmation.php the tax is calculated and displayed correctly, but I miss the label "Tax:" resp. the german "MwSt:" in this line. So the customer doesn't know, where this amount comes from. Is this a bug in the shop system or have I configured anything wrong.

Thx a lot for your help!

Klaus

Klaus,

I don't know if this helps but go to includes/languages/german/checkout_confirmation.php and open the file. It should look like this (the entire code for this file is below):

<?php

/*

$Id: checkout_confirmation.php,v 1.24 2002/11/11 20:13:57 hpdl Exp $

define('NAVBAR_TITLE_2', 'Bestätigung');

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Bestellung aufgeben:');

define('HEADING_DELIVERY_ADDRESS', 'Versandadresse');

define('HEADING_SHIPPING_METHOD', 'Versandart');

define('HEADING_PRODUCTS', 'Produkte');

define('HEADING_TAX', 'MwSt.');

define('HEADING_TOTAL', 'Summe');

define('HEADING_BILLING_INFORMATION', 'Rechnungsinformationen');

define('HEADING_BILLING_ADDRESS', 'Rechnungsadresse');

define('HEADING_PAYMENT_METHOD', 'Zahlungsweise');

define('HEADING_PAYMENT_INFORMATION', 'Zahlungsinformationen');

?>

The line in bold type is, I believe, what you're looking for.

Good luck. :)

jwsfun,

thx for your answer. The file is correct.

Perhaps it helps, if you have a look on the page itself: www.cafe-tiefburg.de/catalog. The site is still in "beta-phase", but a test order will work (we don't deliver anything in the moment!!!!!).

thx Klaus

  • 3 months later...

hello, i had the same problem - you must in the shop configuration - Tax Values (Steuers?tze) - in the Description (Beschreibung) but in "MwSt" - so it will be shown on your order.

;-)

best regards, Hans-Peter
