Help with Load Times???

I have been running some tests on my site. I used the site below to test

http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/

This site says my website will take 35.39seconds to load on a 56k connection.

Can anyone tell me why it is so slow. Do I have too many images displaying and are they too big?

My site it http://shop.3dshoots.com

Thanks for any advice

May be, but osC isn't really designed for 56k connections.

You also could cut down the HTML to about 1/3 of what it is now (i.e. using less tables and some more CSS), examples:

(testing only, no design)

I have a fast connection but your site pops right up. I don't see anything there that would slow it down. I would get rid of the scrolling text though. Personally, I find it annoying but that's just my personal opinion.

Same here, it loads up quickly enough. Still, it's always a good idea to look at making your site faster: reducing image sizes, removing redundant HTML/PHP etc. I recently installed a GIF optimizer which reduces the size of GIFs even more than Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

My website has even more content, I have gotten it down to 130k now (main page), which is not fantastic but I'm working on it. Luckily my server is fast :)

Really, I shouldn't worry about it too much right now.
