Personal Logo on PayPal

Hi All,

I didn't know where to post this. How do you go about changing the displayed top logo on the PayPal page? For example, right now when you make a purchace and go to the PayPal website, on top is displayed [email protected]. I would like to display just mydomain.com... or maybe even a custom logo. I've seen this done by other stores. Where would I go on PayPal to do this?

Thanks in advance.

How do you go about changing the displayed top logo on the PayPal page?

It's a part of the HTML string sent to PayPal.

Where would I go on PayPal to do this?

PayPal instructions:

Login to your PayPal Account and go to the Merchant Tools Tab

Click on the Buy Now Buttons link and create a payment link or button for whatever you're selling

Send the link to your customer in an email or put the button on your website

When you get to the Buy Now Buttons, click on the "Add More Options" button. Look for the following section:

Customize Your Payment Pages (optional)? ?

Display your logo on your customers' payment pages by entering the URL of the image. Required size of image is 150 X 50 pixels.

Note: Only recommended if your logo is hosted on a secure (https) server.

Please choose which type of server your logo resides on.

https: (secure server; recommended)

http: (non-secure server)

Use the https: secure server address. An http:// connection to the image will make the PayPal https:// connection unsecure and raise doubt in the actual validity of the transaction. All servers usually have a free SSL certificate with a generic server name that you can use (or they are not any good).

Logo URL:? ? ?

Choose the background color for your customers' payment pages. See Examples?

White

Black

If your webite uses white pages, don't change to black pages here. PayPal uses white pages and black pages have been known to confuse shoppers unless your site is done in black pages, simply because members are used to PayPal's white background pages.

You will still have to enter all of the other info necessary to create your HTML string which you pass to PayPal.

Hope that helps...
