norton firewall add blocker -

Recommended Posts

has any one else notice if they run norton firewall and set it to block pop ups and banner adds

all product images are removed as norton thinks they are banner adds. :(

maybe there could be away to re write the code to stop this from happing

for now im going to add a notice on my site to ask people to turn off add blocking if they are using norton firewall - but this isnt a great solution and some people may leave the site even before reading the notice.

my site www.wightarts.co.uk

it would be intresting to know if any one else has found this problem as well.

That software is the curse of webdevelopers.

I've found it blocks images of certain sizes which are 'known' to be advertising.

So, varying the size of the images might help.

I've also found that it blocks images by filename, for instance 'banner.gif' is usually blocked.
