No Notice when Authorize.Net fails

We set up an online store a few weeks ago. For the first few weeks Authorize.Net worked fine. Then it stopped working and potential customers were getting that error '... an error occurred processing your credit card....'.


This is bad enough but we did not even reallize that there was a problem until we tried to enter a transaction ourselves. Since this is a new store not having orders was expected.


Is there any way to get an email notice when this type of problem occurs???


BTW. We still do not know how to get authorize.net to work. It has been 2 weeks and authorize.net has NOT been very helpful.
