sl1200mk2 Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Please help if you can... I'll run down the details. Problem: Open first loading the index.php page, the page never loads right, the bottom portion is shifted to the right. Hit refresh, it loads correctly. Problem is repeatable everytime on IE 6.0 and Safari, so I assume it's happening on other browsers as well. Background: 1. Clean OsCom MS2.2 Milestone release - no mods what so ever 2. Tried both caching and non-caching settings 3. Reinstalled several times various new builds, same problem. Win2k server, IIS 5.0, Unique SSL. Please see a small image of the problem as a picture is worth a thousands words: Help? I've searched, but can figure this one out... it's driving me crazy. Thank you, Wayne
♥kymation Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 This is a common problem with version 4.2.x of PHP. The solution is to upgrade PHP to the current version. Regards Jim See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
paulm2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Already answered by kymation before i finished my post. Indeed looks like this "famous" PHP bug.
sl1200mk2 Posted September 28, 2003 Author Posted September 28, 2003 Thank you all for the replies... The server currently runs PHP 4.2.2 - I'll have to check with the host to see if any upgrades are possible. The server uses the Ensim control panel which I'm very happy with as a reseller (it makes my admin functions easy). I'm very happy with the host, so I'm quite hopefull it can be resolved here. They do offer linux hosting and dedi's as well, so that might be an option. I had the room under my current account, so I wanted to try it here first without signing up something else. Thank you all.. Please post any further suggestions or replies!
Guest Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Two other workarounds are suggested here. Hth, Matt
