Different Link Colors

Recommended Posts

I am trying to specify different link colors for the two links on the index.php page:

Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?

When I set my links the desired color these two links become illegible because they are on the black background unlike the rest of the links on my site.

I have created a new class in the CSS but I don?t know where to find the code for these two links, I?m assuming it is in the index.php file but I can?t seem to find where I need to insert the information for the new style class. Here is the link if you would like to see what I mean . . .

Thanks in advance! ~ Mandy

In the index.php page about line 301 you will see this code:

<td class="main"><?php echo tep_customer_greeting(); ?></td>

Change the class by adding a new style to the style sheet.

style = TD.headLinks

Set the color you want.

Then make 2 other styles called:

TD.headLinks a:link, TD.headLinks a:visited

Set the color you want for the link.

TD.headLinks a:hover

Set the color for the over link.

Thanks so much for your help, to what I know seemed like an obvious question!

I had spent too long trying to make the one simple change I figured I?d better ask and look stupid than get nowhere and frustrated!

I think I?m slowly getting how to make the modifications to OSC that I want;

My biggest stumbling block is usually finding what it is I?m attempting to change!

And of course the more I work on it the more I find to change!

Thanks again for your help! ~ Mandy
