New Products For September

Where is the html code that renders the 'New Products For September' table?

I've looked in many places and have not found it.

This table uses the class 'infoBoxContents' which I want to over ride.

Thank You

Emmett

Catalog/includes/modules/products_new.php

The_Bear

In my version of osCommerce there is a file:

catalog/includes/modules/new_products.php

And in this file I see the html code for the table cell <td> of the new products listing however the code I am looking for is:

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4" class="infoBoxContents">.

Here is a 'View Source' of the index page:

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" class="infoBox">

<tr>

<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4" class="infoBoxContents">

<tr>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

</tr>

</table>

I removed all the code after <href=" for clarity.

This is the line of code that I can see in the new_products.php file:

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

This is the line of code that I am looking for:

<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4" class="infoBoxContents">

I want to remove class="infoBoxContents".

Thank You

Emmett

Hi,

What are you trying to do exactly?

To alter the new products you would have to make a new class.

Info about this is at wiki ... look for manufacturer.

Hi,What are you trying to do exactly?

To alter the new products you would have to make a new class.

Info about this is at wiki ... look for manufacturer.

I thought that was explained rather clearly in my previous post.

I believe a new class is not necessary. I want to make the New Products For 'month_here' not render with class infoBoxContents.

To do this for this one <table> I must remove the code 'class="infoBoxContents" from the

<table> tag that the code is in.

The reason for this is because I want this particular table to have a "#ffffff" background.

Again, following is the entire <table> for 'New Products For month':

<tr><td><br>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

<tr><td height="14" class="infoBoxHeading" width="100%">New Products For September</td></tr>

</table>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" class="infoBox">

<tr><td>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4" class="infoBoxContents">

<tr>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

</tr></table>

</tr></td>

</table>

</tr></td>

Ok, I know the code in catalog/includes/modules/new_products.php renders the...

<td align="center" class="smallText" width="33%" valign="top"><a href=" etc. "</td>

...lines of code.

What I need to find out is what renders the code between <tr><td><br> and the new_products.php rendered code which begins at <td align="center" class...etc.

The code I'm looking for is probably "right there" in new_products.php :) but the code is php lingo which at this point in time is somewhat greek to me. :(

However, if someone would please indulge me for the answer to this perplexing problem it would guide me a long way to understanding php code. :)

Thank You

Emmett
