search-engine safe url problem

I have searched this forum for many problems and i usually find a solution...I didnt on this one....sorry if it is repeated somewhere else.

Anyways, I am having a problem with the "Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development)" feature....I know it still says still in development....but i was wondering if it was just my system messing up or not. When I set this feature to true...i do see the URL's to everything change in the store. But when I click on them....the page is not found. So....that is my problem...any help is greatly appreciated :D

I wanted to activate this feature because I was afraid that our products where not being seen by the search engines....and i think this is what this feature does...if i am correct?....If not, is there something else that would make all products in our store be seen by the search engines?

Thanks

I believe that it may have something to do with my apache configuration.....I was reading some things on search engine safe urls....There is a command that might have to be added to httpd.conf to get it to work....Im going to try this later and report back with the results :D

Yea....that was it. The "AcceptPathInfo On" directive had to be added to my apache configuration.....after that it worked great....

If anyone else wants more info on this....the following web site tells you how to modify your apache configuration to get it to work.
