Hi,

I'm trying to install Define Mainpage 1.3.3 and using osCommerce 2.2MS2 and linux. I had a clean install (after much work ) and I'm now trying to add some contributions. I've quintuple++ checked the instructions for Define Mainpage and don't see where I made any errors. Oh, my one other installed contribution is simple template system.

The problem is that when I go to the admin and click on any links, they come up as "page cannot be found" I don't know if this is helpful, but I'm pasting the URL that the page tries to go to:

http://www.mydomain.com/admin/categories.p...960d29c1faa7bc2

I don't know if this helps, but here is my admin/includes/configuration.php file:

define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost or - https://localhost should not be NULL for productive servers

 define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.miniaturebicycles2000.com/catalog/');

 define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.miniaturebicycles2000.com/catalog/');

 define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module

 define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs)

 define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/minibikesadmin/');

 define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN);

 define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

 define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

 define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

 define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

 define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');

 define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

 define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

I've searched the forums numerous times and have spent about 6 hours trying to figure this out on my own. I hope someone can help.

Thanks!

Dave

Try this:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.miniaturebicycles2000.com'); // eg, http://localhost or - https://localhost should not be NULL for productive servers

 define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.miniaturebicycles2000.com');

 define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.miniaturebicycles2000.com');

Check your catalog configure.php for similar errors.

Matti
