Aalst Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 EP seems to only want to upload only a Single Manufacture. I have seperate Excel Files one for each manufacture. When I upload the first one into a clean DB it goes fine. When I upload the second one it uploads fine, but it is not visiable on the Website or in the Admin area. I reversed this, I removed all the products and cleaned the DB again, and I put the second one first, and it goes in fine and is visable, but when I upload the first one second it is the one now not visable. One has 208 products, the other has 997 products. I have more I want to upload but I am not going to spend the time, until I get this problem worked out. I dummied up another one my changing the manufacture and it gets into the DB not is nothing is visable on the website or admin area. EP only correctly uploads the first manufacture. All the stuff is in the DB I checked, but for some reason it is not being correctly uploaded for some reason on any that comes after the first. If I create the manufacture after the upload, and create the highest catagories it doesn't help, however they get linked, because when I delete the catagories that show they have nothing in them they delete all the data that was uploaded from the database. This is strange, if after the upload they are not visable, then create the highest level catagory and nothing is still visable, then I delete it and it says I have 208 products still linked to this category. If anyone can help, please do... Aalst
Aalst Posted September 12, 2003 Author Posted September 12, 2003 I think the problem is a little different that I described here. I think I have it better defined here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=228186
Daemonj Posted September 12, 2003 Posted September 12, 2003 I am working on resolving a similar problem. When new products are imported, the do not appear in Admin ~ Catalog ~ Categories/products but they do appear in the New Products box in the store. If you upload the products again, they appear fine everywhere. Possibly when I determine what is causing this problem it may correct what you are encountering as well.
