Guest Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 Hello, I've been looking for a contrib but can't find one that addresses this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I would like to have a one-time set-up charge for an item regardless of quantity. If I add it as an attribute for an item, the setup charge gets added for each item. For example if you're buying 50 or 500 stress balls with your logo, there is a one time set-up charge of $30 for the imprinting. I can even work with something like a mandatory second item. For example if you add stress balls to your shopping cart, it automatically adds and requires another item called setup charge. Please help. Thanks.
Ajeh Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 The Shoppe Enhancement Controller v2.2 has this built in to the Attributes on a per product per attribute basis. You can add them as one time charges or one time charges based on Qty.

aperfecthost Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 I just upgraded from the 2.2CVS and I am absolutely thrilled! The SEC2.2 is just fantastic. I know my customer is going to be delighted! I think I must be doing something wrong though. I have added products and options. Here's the scoop Product cost: $40.50 discount price for 2-10 is: $26.50 discount price for 11-24 is $22.00 Option 1 is a ONE TIME charge of $40.50 no matter what quantity they are purchasing. Option 2 is a ONE TIME charge of $81.00 no matter what quantity they are purchasing. When quantity of 1 and an option is selected, the pricing is correct. However, when 2 or more is entered, AND an option is selected, the discount amount is ALSO taken from the price of the option. to recap: add 1 to cart for Price each = $40.50 plus option = $40.50 total in cart = $81.00 ==== this is correct add 2 to cart for price each = $26.50 (total of $53.) plus option = $40.50 total in cart = $79.50 ==== this is WRONG. It is discounting the $14.00 from the quantity discount that I have setup for the price of the actual product. HELP! Thanks.
