Replace +/- sort signs in product listing with triangles

Recommended Posts

Just made a mod 'Triangles' in 'Other' to replece the sort + and - sign that follows the Product Name in the header for Products listing.

Just thought this was a good place to advertise it.

Hope this isn't double posting, but how would anyone find it?

catalog/includes/functions/general.php

if ($sortby) {
? ? ?$sort_prefix = '<a href="' . tep_href_link(basename($PHP_SELF), tep_get_all_get_params(array('page', 'info', 'sort')) . 'page=1&sort=' . $colnum . ($sortby == $colnum . 'a' ? 'd' : 'a')) . '" title="' . tep_output_string(TEXT_SORT_PRODUCTS . ($sortby == $colnum . 'd' || substr($sortby, 0, 1) != $colnum ? TEXT_ASCENDINGLY : TEXT_DESCENDINGLY) . TEXT_BY . $heading) . '" class="productListing-heading">';
? // $sort_suffix = (substr($sortby, 0, 1) == $colnum ? (substr($sortby, 1, 1) == 'a' ? '+' : '-') : '') . '</a>';
? ? ?$sort_suffix = (substr($sortby, 0, 1) == $colnum ? (substr($sortby, 1, 1) == 'a' ? tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . "triangle_down.gif", "ascending") : tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . "triangle_up.gif", "descending") ) : '');
}

with the images in the images directory, this already exists in the contributions area as product sort however there were errors in the codes I meant to post a fixed version a while back, but now I dont need to :D

Just small correction :

if ($sortby) {
    $sort_prefix = '<a href="' . tep_href_link(basename($PHP_SELF), tep_get_all_get_params(array('page', 'info', 'sort')) . 'page=1&sort=' . $colnum . ($sortby == $colnum . 'a' ? 'd' : 'a')) . '" title="' . tep_output_string(TEXT_SORT_PRODUCTS . ($sortby == $colnum . 'd' || substr($sortby, 0, 1) != $colnum ? TEXT_ASCENDINGLY : TEXT_DESCENDINGLY) . TEXT_BY . $heading) . '" class="productListing-heading">';
 // $sort_suffix = (substr($sortby, 0, 1) == $colnum ? (substr($sortby, 1, 1) == 'a' ? '+' : '-') : '') . '</a>';
    $sort_suffix = (substr($sortby, 0, 1) == $colnum ? (substr($sortby, 1, 1) == 'a' ? tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . "triangle_down.gif", "ascending") : tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . "triangle_up.gif", "descending") ) : '') . '</a>';
