I did it! But it still dont work right.

I finished installing the MS2 files and configuring them through "myweb/catalog/install" and it said everything was complete. I went to www.gottagetsomethingelse.com/oscommercewhich is where it is supposed to be installed and I got this error now:

 

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'gottag36_osc2@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/gottag36/public_html/oscommerce/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

 

This is the only error I get now, so it went from 3 errors to 1. Any idea?

You need to check your /includes/configure.php file and make sure you have the right database name, login and password for your MySQL file defined.

 

Also, if you just made a new MySQL ... make sure if you created a new user for that MySQL database that you added it to the database.
