Guyver Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 We're having big issues adding new users. I've found a few threads regarding the errors below when you add a new user to the latest OSC version (approx 15/07/03). (even thought that user gets added!) Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /www/itsupplies/includes/classes/email.php on line 71 Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /www/itsupplies/includes/classes/email.php on line 72 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /www/itsupplies/includes/functions/general.php on line 968 Query was empty - Query was empty Query was empty [TEP STOP] Warning: Unknown(): A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in Unknown on line 0 We're running PHP 4.3.1 which seems to have some 'session' bugs along with other issues... I need to find out a couple of things. 1. Is there a quick fix for this?? I've seen threads about turning off the 'state' in cust. details, but the latest version does not seem to have that field, just the ability to give the states min. chars. 2. Would upgrading to PHP 4.3.2 (or 4.3.3) fix this? 3. If upgrade needed, is there an easy way to do this. When we built our servers (SUN/Solaris 8) we compiled apache/ssl/php etc all together. Can you just 'recompile' the PHP? Many thanks John

Guyver Posted September 3, 2003 Author Posted September 3, 2003 Yep, I saw that thread, but was confused as others had found a fix with the 'state' option.. Can anyone advise on the PHP upgrade question I asked, ie can you just recompile the new version (with relevant options) without recompiling the rest (apache/mod_ssl etc) Thanks John
