Emma Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 All of a sudden I'm getting this message when I try to click on anything beyond my index page. I can't get to anyother pages and I don't think I've changed anything. 1016 - Can't open file: 'whos_online.MYI'. (errno: 145) delete from whos_online where time_last_click < '1062503520' [TEP STOP] Why is this happening? What have I done? What can I do? Thanks, Emma
burt Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Why is this happening? What have I done? What can I do? Cpanel update, nothing, search the forum. Basically go into phpmyadmin and choose "repair table" on the affected table.
Emma Posted September 2, 2003 Author Posted September 2, 2003 Hate to sound stupid, guess it can't be helped. I found a download named phpmyadmin and downloaded it but I can't find anything about repair table. I downloaded two different versions but still no repair table. Your help and patience again please. Thank you
wizardsandwars Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 You can also drop and re-create the table. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
sponna Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Hi, Please search the forum using the error message you first posted. You will find several posts which tell you exactly what to do. If you get stuck on the phpmyadmin bit (running the sql stuff), post again and I'll help you. It is a bit of a shock the first time this happens! Dave up the down escalator..........
wizardsandwars Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Also, keep in mind that this is a recursive problem. Until you host upgrades the MyuSQL client services, this error will happen again and again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.
