2.2 Session Issue

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Fresh install of MS2...I have my own SSL area...

I login, and it takes me to

https://secure.mywebsite.com/market/login.php

I login, and it greets me as the proper user (Welcome back, Joe!)

If I click on a product, which takes me out of https, then I go back to the main page via the breadcrumb, it says "Welcome, Guest!"

But if I click on "My Account" *poof* I'm seeing my account information back in https://

So the session dies it seems. Or isn't it dying?

Settings in config file: (FYI: I have no catalog file. Everything from the catalog folder is in the root)

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://market.mywebsite.com'); // eg, http://mywebsite.com - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://secure.mywebsite.com/market'); //

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

==============================================

And I'm storing sessions in MySQL via the config file

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'

Admin Settings:

Sessions

Title Value Action

Session Directory /tmp

Force Cookie Use False

Check SSL Session ID False

Check User Agent False

Check IP Address False

Prevent Spider Sessions True

Recreate Session False

I've searched many of the posts on this issue. It seems to be an MS2 issue? I'm running MS1 also and I don't have this issue...
