Hi,

On my osC 4 installation (Current version 4.14.63493) some of the temp orders are converted to orders twice. Both orders then show equal creation dates (refer to the example below).

Any thoughts on what to configure, troubleshoot, or investigate?

Thnings I tried, to rerproduce the issue:

I tried serveral check-out variations on the test osc version but I am unable to point out which is the cause.

Things I tired:

  • Check-out as guest
  • Check-out as guest, creating an account
  • Check-out as customer
  • Check-out using several shipping options
  • Check-out using several payment options

All seem to create one order, but occasionally an order gets created twice.

An example:

Only one Temp order #94, referencing order #5430:

However an additional order is created just before within the same second: #3429:

My gut feeling tells me the duplicate orders are created due to some delay (and hence maybe a retry) when Mollie Payment method is used.

I can confirm it is due to the Mollie payment module. A duplicate order is not created all the time which makes it difficult to pin point what the cause is.

@Jack_mcs do you have any thoughts on what may cause the duplicates?
