USPS module and related configuration help needed. shop locked in USA only.

osCommerce V4.14.63493 (latest) I need help configuring  USPS module not displaying rates in the front end.

Areas I believe are involved, TAXES, LOCATION, LOCALIZATION, USPS module config. USPS API was granted and status is OK.

 

Symptoms:

2. About 25 countries are selected but only displays or accept customer registration for USA, the dropdown country menu is locked to USA only.

3. The field COUNTRY is locked to USA as the only option, the registered customers cannot be edited by admin

4. The USPS module was tested with all possible combination and cannot display in the front end shopping cart or checkout pages

5. when USA is selected in the USPS module Shipping Zone it causes error 500 timeout, if USA not selected it doesn't display rates or calculate shipping in the sub-totals.

 

A nanyone could help please?

Has there been any movement on this ? Having a similar experience setting up the USPS shipping module. Not to mention that USPS is sundowning API 1 & 2. Is this plugin running on API 3?

Hi Michael, The solution I found was to delete the entire installation and install it again, HOWEVER, once new installation has a new App Store key my USPS Module disappeared, then, after a week or so someone from the support, Mr. Ivan Puyda helped me to restore the purchase since it was in the same domain and URL.

By now I have the module installed with the right credentials but not working as it was before, when the module is turned TRUE  it gives me an error 500 in the shopping_cart and checkout pages. So the most creative solution I found was to raise the price and put it all FREE SHIPPING and ask international buyers to contact me for shipping estimate. Yes, yesterday I saw the USPS WebTools warning about the retirement of V1 and V2 on Jan. 22th. Let's see the next chapter of the USPS Module soap opera after 22nd. The best we can do is to wait for USPS guidelines after 22nd.

You are getting the same 500 error we are. I am going to make a new post to raise the visibility on this problem. I will add, we did get the UPS plugin to work after the api upgrade, so you might try that as a shipping solution and there is hope
