Hi

Having spent now around a month trying to get this to work, I thought (with the help of a few members) I had finally cracked it. All working fine, SSL functioning correctly, so started adding contributions, nothing clever, just some basic shipping modules, a change in header and footer and the additon of a logo.

This is now well weird. I am using IE6, shared SSL.

When I fire off an new IE6 the task bar in place in the bottom of the screen with the microsoft logo in the bottom right hand side, then when you pass over some favourites it sometimes greys out to reveal just a grey strip with nowhere for the padlock to go, other times it stays there. Sometimes when I go to Account I get a padlock, sometimes not. It is behaving totally randomly now.

My shop url is http://www.motoxtreme.co.uk/catalog/index.php

catalog/includes/config is

I guess you are all fed up with answering ones like this but this is totally beyond me and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

This is now even stranger. I have this site in my favourites, as soon as the mouse pointer passes over the drop down favourites menu the menu bar a the bottom of the browser dissapears and will not return.

If however, you fire off a new window and type the url into address bar the lower browser bar stays there and you can then get the gold padlock when you go to my account.

Is this an IE issue? I have tried it on IE 5.5 and it seems to show the same problem.

Anyone else seeing it ? try my site www.motoxtreme.co.uk/catalog bookmark it and try with manual url entry.

Thanks

thanks

Rich

Hi

Final post. All sorted. Interesting one this, it was an IE problem. I had a folder in my favourites with all my test url's on for this site and deciced to place the folder on the Links bar in IE6 below the Address bar so that I could access the url's quicker, before I had to go to Favourites and then page down for ages, so it was better to have it there. If you pick up the shortcut from there it screws up the bottom of the browser as in my previous posts. I took the folder back off of the Links bar and back into Favourites and all works 100% now.

Perhaps this is a bug report for Microsoft?

thanks

Rich
