Hey guys, i noticed that OsC 2.2 has changes well in the last version When i was testing the shopping cart on my own webserver before i upload it I was able to create a new user account without having to deal with mail settings.

~Now, when i tryo to create a new user it says:

Warning: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in catalogincludesclassesemail.php on line 502

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at d:apache groupapachehtdocscatalogincludesclassesemail.php:502) in catalogincludesfunctionsgeneral.php on line 29

What do i do ? I dont want to install a SMTP server on my local machine and i cannot install sendmail because i am not on *nix. Any suggestions how to create a user account without dealing with that ?

Ilan`

Comment out this line at the bottom of "catalog/create_accpunt_process.php":

tep_mail($name, $email_address, EMAIL_SUBJECT, nl2br($email_text), STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS);

This will prevent sending out an email at account creation.
