Problem on startup page

Hello there

 

Whenever I type my site name in, the picture appears half way down the screen.

 

You have to refresh it for it to be correct and look nice.

 

WHat do i do to overcome this problem ??

Do u think its something to do with my hosting ?

 

Its really annoying and not nice since it is the first page of the website that everyone will make an impression upon.

 

Please help if anyone knows the way around this problem :)

What version of PHP does your host use?

 

Do you have Force Cookie Use set to true?

 

Is session auto start turned on?

uses php4, not exactly sure what sub version (this is the problem im sure)

 

cookie use off

autostart session ??? (i think so)

 

Please help as this gives a REAL bad impression on my webpage..

its annoying.

Well truthfully it was ok then when i reloaded it went to the same old thing.

 

However i got a friend to test for me and he got it first time no problem..

 

BUT i asked him to close the webpage and reload my website, it messed up

 

I guess il have to edit php

I need help of what to do though since im not to sure :(

anyone post a step by step guide how to do this ?

 

Also is there a chance of how to know to upgrade my version of PHP ?

 

i just downloaded the latest and its a zip file.

 

I dont know what to do with it though:(
