Hello everyone..

***1,000,000 PRODUCT TEST***

I am very curious how oscommerce handles with TONS TONS of products,

So,, I now have a dedicated machine with the following specs.

P4 1600 MHZ

768 MEG ram PC 133.

160 gig HD 7200 RPM's

Windows Xp PRO.

THERE WILL BE MORE THAN 1 MILLION PRODUCTS IN THE SHOP..

I WILL POST A LINK OR IP WHEN I AM DONE..

I HOPE THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE FOR OSCOMMERCE..

Your specs look good enough (apart from the OS :) )

There are several tools (on linux/unix that is) you can use to test your setup.

It also would not be too hard to write a script that requests a lot of webpages (heavy ones, like searches) on the server and run a couple of hundred of that too.
