Guest
Aren't the zones stored in the database? The code is in includes/modules/shipping/zones.php Hth, Matt
cvelardi
Yes, the codes in full, use to be there...here is what happened: In the administration panel under (locations/taxes) there is a link for ZONES. It lists in columns the country, zones, codes. Somehow I deleted all the USA codes by accident and then went in and inserted one for NJ. I would like to have them all back to the original format, but cannot find the file to replace. I can cut and paste from one of my demo carts, but cannot find the right file. The one you suggested doesn't list all the countries with their zones and codes. I found another zones.php file but same thing. It just calls up other files but none I have located actually contain all the info to allow the module to show the complete listing. Any suggestions where the complete listing is??? amoun
There's no dat in the folders after install, all the data is copied to the database on the server and deleted from your machine. You must either get the data from a new install file, or tranfer the data from the backup database you so carefully made, just for such an event  Roger facts invariably distort the truth
cvelardi
To help me better understand: The database on the server, I can assume, is not accessible in any way, except via the scripts themselves or via a backup? Should I decide at any time to use another hosting company or switch to another server, copying the cart directories won't help getting back up and running unless I have access to the database via a backup? Is backing up the only way to transfer this info?
cvelardi
Tried to back up demo file to see how things work and here's what happened. If I tried to back up server side, there was no backup created. If I tried the backup as a download off server side I received this message: Warning: fopen(/home/demo3/public_html/oscart/admin/backups/db_demo3_osc1-20030816224525.sql.zip) [function.fopen]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in /home/demo3/public_html/oscart/admin/backup.php on line 131 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/demo3/public_html/oscart/admin/backup.php:131) in /home/demo3/public_html/oscart/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line
