I have a Win2k box running Apache/2.0.47 (WIN32)mod_ssl/2.0.47 OpenSSL/0.9.7b PHP/4.3.2. I can send the transaction to authnet but come up with the following error message on screen:

"From: https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the Merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.

This transaction cannot be accepted. "

I then get an email form auth net saying Your script timed out while we were trying to post transaction results to it.

Transaction ID: 0

Transaction Result: This transaction has been approved.

I have set up the URL path's for the Reciept and Relay Response in my Auth net config to the checkout_process.php file.

The Authnet people say its some thing with my server?? Timing out before receiving a response? Can anyone help make heads or tails of this??

I have it up and in test mode at http://development.microsupply.com if anyone would like to give it a whirl and see the error messages for themselves.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I ran a traceroute and some packets dropped, I don't know how significant that is, but they claimed no problem on their end. The tech says the relay response times out after 10 sec. and there is little probability of that being changed.
