language error

Hello,

I just tried to install the dutch language, nut I'm getting this error:

Warning: main(includes/languages/catalog/includes/languages/dutch.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 285

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/catalog/includes/languages/dutch.php' (include_path='.:/data/apache/php/mmp_lib') in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 285

Seems like the path is double, but I can't find it in the configure.php:

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://members.lycos.nl/biketravel/'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'members.lycos.nl');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'members.lycos.nl');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', 'catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', 'catalog/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

Has anybody a suggestion?

Thanks,

Marco de Wit

includes/languages/catalog/includes/languages/dutch.php

the first "includes/languages" is double and probably called by the script/page where you are now.

if the call is "DIR_WS_LANGUAGES . dutch.php" or something like that, just remove the DIR_WS_LANGUAGES.

I've been doing some experimenting with the admin/configure.php and the wrong path has been solved.

Now the error is:

Warning: setlocale(): Passing locale category name as string is deprecated. Use the LC_* -constants instead. in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/includes/languages/dutch.php on line 12

Warning: main(includes/languages/dutch/index.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/index.php on line 33

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/dutch/index.php' (include_path='.:/data/apache/php/mmp_lib') in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/index.php on line 33

I don't really understand these path's, as the path of the site is:

members.lycos.nl/biketravel/catalog

find admin/includes/configure.php

(note: this is NOT catalog/includes/configure.php)

If on the server the folder ADMIN is in CATALOG, then your path is fine

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

If on the server the folder ADMIN is in members.lycos.nl/biketravel then

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '');

My FTP is: ftp.members.lycos.nl

and my login name is biketravel

I still have these little problems, but things are impoving:

In the admin screen, the online catalog button directs to:

members.lycos.nl/biketravel/catalog/admin/catalog

The dutch language module works a little. This is the error:

Warning: setlocale(): Passing locale category name as string is deprecated. Use the LC_* -constants instead. in /data/members/free/tripod/nl/b/i/k/biketravel/htdocs/catalog/admin/includes/languages/dutch.php on line 12

Thanks,

Marco
