MySQl 4.0.13 syntax errors?

Recommended Posts

I have recently moved to a new Mysql server - which is running MySQL 4.0.13.

Originally I have been using 3.23.51 and when I import sql code into that it works fine.

When I try to import sql on 4.0.13. I always get sql SYNTAX errors. I have tried importing the same code on both servers and the old server it imports fine and the new one it doesn't...

A error I just got then was:

MySQL said:

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'I_lastname varchar(32) default NULL,admin_email_address varchar

Does anyone have a program that can check and verify sql for 4.0.13 - I assume the new versions use new syntax and isn;t compatiable with older versions (seems silly to me).

Can anyone help?
