Stray "n"s?

I seem to have stray n's in my code and I'm not sure where they're coming from. It seems to be in the install code, as I've re-installed several times (for different reasons) and they're still there.

One instance is when you view the products by a single manufacturer. There will be an "n" (lowercase) at the top of the main body. I managed to avoid this problem by simply taking off all the links to this page (we've only got one manufacturer).

However, it also shows up on the Checkout >> Shipping Method page. I have an "n" that shows up, on it's own row, in an irregular font (compared to the rest of the page). This is the code:

      <tr>

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">

         <tr>

           <td class="main"><b>Shipping Method</b></td>

         </tr>

       </table></td>

     </tr>

     <tr>

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2" class="infoBox">

         <tr class="infoBoxContents">

           <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">

             <tr>

               <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

               <td class="main" width="100%" colspan="2">This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order.</td>

               <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

             </tr>

             <tr>

               <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

               <td colspan="2"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">

                 <tr>

                   <td width="10"><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

                   <td class="main" colspan="3"><b>Per Item</b> </td>

                   <td width="10"><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

                 </tr>

                 <tr id="defaultSelected" class="moduleRowSelected" onmouseover="rowOverEffect(this)" onmouseout="rowOutEffect(this)" onclick="selectRowEffect(this, 0)">n                    <td width="10"><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

                   <td class="main" width="75%">Best Way</td>

                   <td class="main" align="right" colspan="2">$0.00<input type="hidden" name="shipping" value="item_item"></td>

                   <td width="10"><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

                 </tr>

               </table></td>

               <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="10" height="1"></td>

             </tr>

           </table></td>

         </tr>

       </table></td>

     </tr>

It seems to be a default value on a variable, but I could be wrong.

Has anyone else had this problem? And how do I get rid of it?

<tr id="defaultSelected" class="moduleRowSelected" onmouseover="rowOverEffect(this)" onmouseout="rowOutEffect(this)" onclick="selectRowEffect(this, 0)">n

Look in your Catalog/checkout_shipping.php file (around line 248 in mine)

there should be a "n" representing a new line command. I suspect the "n" that you are seeing is this one. See if your code looks like this:

          echo '                  <tr class="moduleRow" onmouseover="rowOverEffect(this)" onmouseout="rowOutEffect(this)" onclick="selectRowEffect(this, ' . $radio_buttons . ')">' . "n";

Ditto for any other page (or file) where this is appearing.

... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking,
