I got my secure certificate now what?

I noticed when I installed osC for the first time it asked if the store would be secure and I elected yes even though I had not gotten the certificate yet.

After doing so I noticed I could not get to certain pages like account.php because the url had a "https" and not http.

So know I got the certificate and if I go to the accounts page and it still does not work. In the admin area it also says that the site is not secure.

My questions are:

How long does it take for a secure certificate to get working?

Was there anything specific that I had to define to my host so the secure address would be https://www.mystore.com and not https://secure.mystore.com?

If there is a time to wait for the certificate to activate will I be fine afterwards? Will the site work correctly?

Thanks in advance,

Sammy

Forget everything. I'm all set. Turns out it was Norton Firewall that was giving me the problem.
