tinda Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Hello , I've just downloaded oscommerce2.2 yesterday . As a beginner I thought it was wonderfull that there is a place to ask questions and get support . But I don't think I've ever seen such activity on a forum . Does this mean that there are so many problems with this program that everyone needs constant support ? or does it means something else ? I get the feeling that perhaps this may prove to be a difficult task ...running my own web-shop . Should I stop before it takes up all my time or should I give it a go ...? This question is mainly aimed at those of you who dared ...and succeeded . I love a challenge , I don't think I'm dumb  , and I still have a few working braincells :D .....but I work full time ...and I still want to spend time with my son .... I have thousands of items to sell , so it would be fun if it would work . :?: "Should I stop , or should I go ?" :? Enlighten me please ! Thank YOU , LInda
reynaldo77 Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 The people here are just a) extremely perfectionistic and post a lot about making an already great product even better, and B) extremely helpful when you do have problems. You should give it a go...nothing to lose and so much to gain! :D

Guest Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Take a look at the My Store channel to see many many websites happily running osCommerce!
