Guest Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 Hello I am still having a problem with my cart with: Unable to determine page link on checkout sucess. I have posted my problem here but it seems either no one knows the answer, or I havent posted enough yet, or because Im new ? I dont know. The cart is great but the support here is cryptic ,seems only certain people get help, Can I get on that support list, Please? I really need help. Im willing to pay. Anyway ,if someone can tell me what causes the error: Unable to determine page link: on Continue from successful purchase I might be able fix it myself. Just tell me what causes the error, Im not asking anyone to look through my config's or anything just what causes the error. Please help http://floridaquiltingacademy.com/catalog
Daemonj Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 That message occurs when a call to the tep_href_link function provides an empty address. The only way to track where the problem is, is to echo the first parameter of every tep_href_link call in the checkout_success.php file and find which one is returning blank. Support is strictly by volunteers on their own time. It is most likely that you have not received responses because everyone's time was up answering other questions before they could get to yours. ;) "Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. Guest Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Im assuming: config's must be correct (im getting orders, emails are working, etc.) Because: only some logons and all checkout Continues produce error. With logon, or create account hitting back in your browser... poof ... your logged in. no problem but sloppy. And sometimes missing footer in secure areas of checkout. :? Should I re-download and install oscommerce? Corrupted files or code maybe? other than those errors it works. Thanks for any help you can give me OSCmonkeywrench
Daemonj Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 It sounds like your problem is occuring when switching between secure and non-secure modes. Verify that your configure.php files are setup correctly. If you are using MS2, especially check the cookie path and domain settings. Guest Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Ive tried every setting for those ever posted in this forums I mean every one !!! but still no luck. I believe it has to do with my host, or that the domain im trying to use it on, is a sub-account of my top domain... not in the root area of my account. causing my problem. :?: Is it possible to run OScommerce under a sub- sub-account? Thanks
Guest Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 If you can teel me my dir on my account with my host is llike this: u1111/my main account area/sites/floridaquitlingacademy.com the domain i want to use the cart in is a the sub account floridaquiltingacademy.com the SSL is shared on another server, copies of catalog in both Is this possibly why I have those login errors? Cart cannot be on sub?
Daemonj Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Would you mind sending me the catalog/includes/configure.php files from both your secure and non-secure folders. In addition, please provide the file paths and URLs that are correct for each. "Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds.
