category id above 59 not showing sub category

HI would anyone assist me with this problem

 

when i add a category it assigns it's number above 59, then i add a subcategory and it will give a number like 59_64 etc..

 

I am able to see this on the category box but i am not able to display it on the header, category_tab.php it only shows the catergory and not the sub category.. any ideas , need help.
