vjames Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 okay my shop is at www.shopcobi.com - i just started working with OS Commerce and there are a few things I need some help on please. first - When uploading pictures - I can't get any pictures to show up on my user interface, or my administrative interface, how do I fix this. second, I want to change the design of the current store on oscommerce, i want to add the logo on shopcobi.com add that logo at the top so my customers will feel that the site is connected, and also how do i change the customize the designs. third, i tried backing up the files under back up, i saved the data base, did the whole restore thing, but it didn't do anything, how do i back up and restore. . . i would really appreciate a quick response. chfields Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 You change the look of the store through css stylesheets. You use backup to save your database and restore if something happens to it.
vjames Posted July 31, 2003 Author Posted July 31, 2003 do you know how to get my pictures to load and show, does it have anything to do with the path numbers, like 755, should that be changed to something else, and if so, which files, in what directory do i change them to? and with style .css, which and where do i access, can't i design the page on front page, save as a .css and somehow intergrate everything somehow? thanks so much, jen.
