papasan Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 here's the deal.... sessions seem to work fine. i can shop, log-in, shop, write reviews, shop, check-out. problem with sessions are well documented, i hate how the SID is annouced in the URL for every page, much prefer cookies... force cookies and odd things happen. can shop, log-in and checkout if i do it 100% in that order with no fooling around. but if i go to write a review it asks me to log-in then sends me back to the index.php then i go to write a review and it asks me to log-in, etc. etc. if i log in then shop the items will show up in the cart on individual pages, but if i go to log-out it says my cart is empty! i have to shop not logged in then log in only to check out. other wierd stuff like this with cookies forced. so is this my misconfiguration or is this a limitation to the osC code? my SSL is myurl.myhost.com and my non-SSL is myurl.com, i thought that ms2 was supposed to fix these issues, but perhaps they didn't catch it 100%? any help appreciated....
