rasaqrasaq Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Dear sir, Please I have just installed oscommerce and would like to change oscommerce on top of my catalog page to my company name;my company name is continental connections co. inc;please I need somebody who could explain step by step how to change the oscommerce on top of the catalog page to my company's name;I have the latest version of milestone v2.2;I really need to know how to do this;this has really been disturbing me from proceeding;I am new to oscommerce;please tell me what to do together with other things that should be done to customize newly installed oscommerce

hemmi Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 You can name your logo as: oscommerce.gif and upload it via ftp. to your images folder and substitude it for the older oscommerce.gif file. To change the text in the IE, you change it in the language file english.php (or the language you are working with) Find this line in english.php // page title define('TITLE', 'oscommerce'); and change the text to whatever you want to: // page title define('TITLE', 'put here the info you want to be visible'); info on similar subject: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php...t=changing+logo
