XML USP - different store and shipping origin ZIP codes?

Hi,

 

Our store sells 100% drop-shipped heavy items (watch those toes). I've successfully installed the XML UPS module and if anything, I get quotes a buck higher than if I use the UPS web site. Historically, the UPS site has always estimated a buck or two low for us, so I am happy and believe that the new XML contribution by Torin Walker is a big improvement over what we've used so far.

 

QUESTION: I'd like the shipping calcs to be from the drop-ship location to the customer rather than from our business address location. I tried entering store origin info to reflect the drop-ship location (ZIP 98001) rather than ours (97321), but get errors that the ZIP code provided to UPS is invalid for the store's location...does that seem right? How do you make the UPS quote work for a different zip code?

 

I set everything to the physical store location for now, and since we're only 150 miles from the drop-ship location, it'll average out...but in the name of accuracy for customers, I'd like to get this tuned up.
