Corwyn Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Hi, My site is pretty much set up, but I kep having trouble with the small images http://www.phonesandstuff.com They are stretched and diplay pretty poor. Any ideas? Also, any feedback on the site. Corwyn
Corwyn Posted July 30, 2003 Author Posted July 30, 2003 I read the other string about bimage etc. I guess if that contribution gets worked out so a non programmer like me can use it I'll swithc to it. Right now All I care about is being able to display small images nicely WITHOUT having to resize 100s of pictures to the same exact dimention. Corwyn
Guest Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 In admin>configuration>images>set your heights to nothing(blank) HTH The_Bear
Corwyn Posted July 30, 2003 Author Posted July 30, 2003 Bear, I did that. If I set both to null than it diplays the images in their original size. Some pictures are 75x75 other are 200x200 THis leads to a very messy site. If I only set height to null it still distorts alot of the images because they are different sizes. I'm getting the feeling that the only solution is a 16 hour day in photoshop :( Corwyn
chfields Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 I found a free program called jpeg imager that worked great for creating thumbnails. I have over 1800 pics and it just took a couple minutes to change them all to one size. I did this for the big images contribution and it works great. You can get it at download.com. http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=...ager&tg=dl-2001
