Warning: main(includes/languages/espanol.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/internet/public_html/giftgiving/includes/application_top.php on line 250

Can anyone tell me what is wrong here? thanks

For some reason, it thinks that the current language should be Spanish (Espanol), but it can't find the include/languages/espanol.php file.

Good luck,

Matt

Well, I was trying to remove the two flags, spanish and german so I would just have an American flag there since I'm in the USA. I confused the whole site and things started popping up with no listings, etc.

So.. I downloaded another copy of oscommerce and tried to "fix" it by copying a new Spanish and new German default.php but it did not work. ( It seems it should have)

Anyhow. Now I have a complete (TIME, BIG TIME) Time-Wasted site.

What I need to do now is save the database so I won't lose all of that time that I took to list stuff but..here is the big question..

1. If I save the database, will it be in English or a mixture?

2. Where would I go to save the database? What is it's location? What is it's name?

Does anyone out there know this? Thank you so much...

Bumfuzzled! :?

Just reinstall. When it asks you if you want to import database, say no. You will have a new install with the existing database.

Or you could try copying the espanol and german folders as well as the .php files, if you wanted to try that first.

Good luck,

Matt

At the click of a button, I get an install. It does not ask if I want a database.

I asked in another forum where to find the data base as I was getting desperate and TIME is a thing at this point.Anyhow. Thank you Matt! I will look to see if I can use that idea to reinstall. Maybe the panel offers a yes or no on a new database. Thanks again.
