TB Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Just conducting a poll to see how many people would enter their details into a non-secure page, a page with a Shared SSL or Private SSL. Thanks for contributing... Tony "The price of success is perseverance. The price of failure comes much cheaper."
Hunkah Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 I never do it. As you can tell by my name. I have a hotmail account and a lycos account all with this "Internet Alias". I am known as Hunkah Crap all over the net. I don't trust anyone. I don't like giving information to anyone. There are always new ways of hacking and cracking. Nothing is secure. Not even your underware is secure. I have a copy of them now!
Guest Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Personally, I think it depends on the warning produced by their browser. eg Mozilla's phrasing seems more reassuring somehow. Some of AOL's warnings are so cautiously phrased its a wonder anyone ever views a site with them!
