Rumble Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Yes you would have to change alot of files to make a vast difference Reddy to Rumble Thank you osCommerce and all who Contribute to her!
Guest Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 That depends what you want to change. Colours, fonts etc can be changed in the stylesheet. Removing one of the columns with infoboxes in can also make a big difference to the appearance. For that you need to change, i think, 40+ files, but its fairly straightforward to do. More details on how are in the wiki documantation. Have a look at some of the live stores to see just how different osCommerce can look. Also there are a couple of threads mentioning some of the more innovative stores, design-wise - maybe they could give you an insight[/url]
Hunkah Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 There is going to be some sort of template system coming in the future. No one knows when, but it is coming. I still have yet to figure out what the heck temp-docs are. But in there somewhere is an example of what it will look like.
