Nico2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Hi there, what a simple problem actually and yet I just cannot seem to find a proper solution  Here's it: If I ship stuff to a different country, I'll have to charge more shipping and handling fees. When shipping stuff in my own country, I always have one price - no matter, how much stuff I send out (I just have a slightly higher price when I ship COD). Well - how can I chance the s&h fees now if I ship my stuff out to another country? Believe it or not, but I really haven't found any fitting answer so far ... Looking forward to any good suggestions! Nico
wizardsandwars Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Actully, that's a good point. I don't think there is a way yet to charge and extra handling fee for international orders. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
Priest Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 If I am understanding you correctly, then I am already do this. I have one flat-fee for Us order, Canada Orders, and International Orders. You can do this by taking the Flat-Rate .php file and editing it and making two new ones. These will automatically added as new Flat-Rate modules in the the shipping section. There are other topics regarding this. Search for Flat-Rate, multiple.... I'll see what I can find for you regarding this. ~P~
Rumble Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Hi, Theres an order total called ot_shipping.php, it allows you to apply free shipping to 'national' or 'international' orders. So i guess you could start with that code and cutomise it into a shipping module. Reddy to Rumble Thank you osCommerce and all who Contribute to her!
