View all products in subcat when category itself has none

Hello,

 

Is there a way to see all the products in all sub categories of a category, if the category itself has no products in.

 

Example:

 

Skin Care

Sport Care

No products directly under skin care nor sport care, but a list of subcategories:

Skin Care -> Oils

Skin Care -> Cleansers

Skin Care -> Skin cleaners

Sport Care -> Oils

Sport Care -> Cleansers

Sport Care -> Skin Cleaners

 

And then, under these subcategories, I have products. There is no way I can change the categories, that's the way the company is sorting products.

 

So how can I display all products of the subcategories instead of none if there is nothing under that particular category?

 

Example, if I click Skin Care, I should see, on top, all the subcategories, and then a box with all products from those subcategories.

 

The featured products contrib do not allow me to do a featured product list per category, otherwise I would have used that and create a fake featured list with all subcategory products (I have less than 50 in total)

I fortgot... I have OSC MS1, not 2 for now, because I have too many different contrib to reinstall in case of a change (That would be great to have a script comparing the needed line to be changed per page btw ;-)
