SSL and Downloads Controller

I am having a little problem that someone may have some insight into. I had my site working perfectly, including the downloads controller. I installed SSL and now when the customer goes to the downloads page using the Download link in the download_files.php box, the page does not show any download links. If I hard code the download page link into boxes/download_files.php using the non SSL page, the links show up fine. Is there something I am missing in the download links showing up on the secure page?
