OSC milestone 2 to MS ACCESS HELP

To anyone who can help.

 

I have created an Oscommerce website www.littlebeigebox.co.uk (not finnished but getting there). I would now like to connect this to a database in ms access xp. I downloaded odbc connection, and have attempted to connect to my website. I have this problem, it doesnt reconise my user name, for example user name is "me", but when it attempts to connect it says cannot connect to server user name invalid [email protected]. I am running windows xp pro, office xp, and adsl. Any help or pointers as to what i may be doing wrong would be most helpfull. The only other thing i can think to do is to add a new user name/password to my oscommerce website, but i dont think this as a solution.

Did you create the user as [email protected]? If not, then you need to add that user. All users are specified as [email protected] need both parts (actually, I may have seen a way to match all domains on the MySQL site, but that is not the default).

P.S. You can check the user tables with a product like phpMyAdmin installed on the server.
