Austin519 Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 I'm just trying to use milestone 2 right now and this is on Windows 2000SP4, setting everything up etc. In trying to create a new customer, and I have trouble after I press the submit button. The item I'm curious if it's a bug is, for State it doesn't give me a pull down menu of any sort. So I type in TX just to test, and I received an error saying please select a state from the pull down menu after it refreshed...and the pull down menu is there now. As for the errors, they are (again after hitting submit): Warning: checkdnsrr() is not supported in this PHP build in C:FoxServwwwcatalogincludesfunctionsvalidations.php on line 116 Warning: checkdnsrr() is not supported in this PHP build in C:FoxServwwwcatalogincludesfunctionsvalidations.php on line 116 So I turned off the verify dns. I have heard it's not supported in win32...has anyone win32 gotten this to work? The next errors I got, after I turned off the verify dns, were (again after hitting submit, and clearing the previously made customer): Warning: Failed to Connect in C:FoxServwwwcatalogincludesclassesemail.php on line 500 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:FoxServwwwcatalogincludesclassesemail.php:500) in C:FoxServwwwcatalogincludesfunctionsgeneral.php on line 29 Anyone know what's up? Thanks. Austin519
Guest Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 You need a mail server for the email to work -- if you don't have one you get that error.... so no... not a bug at all
Austin519 Posted July 28, 2003 Author Posted July 28, 2003 Johnson: For the bug, the bug wasn't the email thing, it was the pulldown menu...if they put in TX or FL or a two letter code, it returns an error and says select from the pulldown menu, which wasn't there before but now appears. But as for the email thing...ha ha ha...oh boy...did I mention I was a total newbie? Well...what would you suggest running (I'm running Apache 2.0.39 and PHP 4.2.2) for that? Also while I'm at it...has anyone had luck incorporating openssl into their apache servers under Win32? Because I can't seem to do it. Short of taking the 2.0.47 and building it with SSL support in it, I can't seem to get ssl to function as a module... Austin519
