Also, do you have the SMTP server set properly in php.ini? The easiest solution to this error is to set Send E-Mails to false. It won't send emails, but it won't give you this error either. I myself tried FoxServ...and just a friendly piece of advice mate, don't. FoxServ is a little bit outdated, and also doesn't have the complied apache with SSL. It took me maybe 15 minutes (knowing nothing believe me) to set everything else up separately, I found a compiled version of 2.0.47 apache with ssl built in...and it was a breeze after that...
