Hi,

I have two working stores using OSC:

1. Rokok Zone - www.rokokzone.com - Clove Cigarettes Store

2. Bali Art World - www.baliartworld.com - Painting Store

Both of them using MS1.

Coz right now OSC have MS2, I'm being put in a decision to make, do I need to go with MS2?

What is the major different between MS1 and MS2?

Is there any database structure changes?

Is there anyone who already did the changes from MS1 to MS2? And do I need to know some tips of it?

Please advice.

Thank you.

Not unless you want the latest and greatest release or you are interested in the bug fixes and/or added security.

What is the major different between MS1 and MS2?

Mostly bug fixes and added security with a little bit of added functionality.

See the workboard for all of the items that MS2 contains.

Is there any database structure changes?

Yes, minor changes but they are there.

Is there anyone who already did the changes from MS1 to MS2? And do I need to know some tips of it?

Thank you.

I have performed several - I installed MS2, transferred the old database to the new database, ensured that everything worked correctly and then removed the previous installation and db. Actually when I say removed, I tar.gz'ed the files just in case I needed them.

If you have a lot of modifications and/or contributions installed, I would not do the upgrade. Especially if your stores are functioning correctly.

I hope that helps.
