Couple of questions from a new user

I am just getting started in setting up my online store and oscommerce is great. I am just having a little bit of trouble with a few things.

 

1) I make all of my products after I recieve my orders. Some orders can take up to 2 weeks to be delivered. The confirmation page says that it will arrive in 2-5 days. How can I change this?

 

2) Product Attributes- Is there a way to make a superset product and base all of the product attributes for other products off of the original? Making the first product have all of the product attributes that I want and then have all of the rest of my products having the same attributes but different descriptions and pictures. When I copy the product it only copies the name, description, and picture. Not the product attributes. I have about 8 different product attribute categories with around 3-8 options in each category, so assigning attributes for each product is very time consuming.

1. includes/language/english/checkout_success.php (replace english with another language if appropriate). Change the define('TEXT_SUCCESS', '...'); line as necessary.
